Do Your Taxes Now!

Starting right after Christmas each year the Internal Revenue Service starts its annual propaganda campaign to entice Americans into towing the line on taxes. Florence, KY (PRWEB) March 31, 2005 -- Starting right after Christmas each year the Internal Revenue Service starts its annual propaganda campaign to entice Americans into towing the line on taxes. Right behind the IRS are all the tax preparation companies, accountants, attorneys, and software companies. Everybody that makes money off of taxes starts shouting. Ever wondered why? For the tax preparation companies, accountants, attorneys, and software companies its a no brainer. Money. This industry has grown to $5 Billion a year in revenue. That's just to much money to lose. But, why would a supposedly legal agency of the Federal government have to use propaganda and threats to get people to comply with a legal tax law? Are they afraid of something? Why is the Internal Revenue Code over 6000 pages long? Why is it written to confuse and deceive? Each year Money Magazine asks several accountants to prepare tax returns based upon the exact same information. If they get seven participants they get seven different answers. Are all seven wrong? Is one right and six wrong? Are all seven right? Is there any American that can't write a tax law for individuals in a page or less? Why does Congress take thousands of pages? Is Congress intentionally trying to deceive us? These questions need to be answered. Unfortunately, the IRS won't answer them. The Congress won't answer them. And you can bet your last dollar that the businesses that depend upon a deceptive tax code won't answer them. So, what are the people to do? A new website has been created, Uptheirs.com. It's a place where people can find information about the tax code and how to deal with the IRS. In time the amount of information will expand and it will become a place where people with concerns about taxes can communicate with each other and share problems and solutions. Jim Bullock has been an ardent student of the tax laws and the infamous IRS since 1982. He is the owner of the free website Uptheirs.com. Email contact: e-mail protected from spam bots.
